What we do
TX Switch Sense is a calculator. We extract plan terms from the electricity bills and Electricity Facts Labels you upload, let you save your current plan as a baseline, and compute a financial comparison against any plan you’re considering. We are not a retail electric provider, broker, or affiliate of one.
No financial advice
The 0–100 score and the plain-English recommendation are educational. Your actual savings depend on your real usage, which varies. Make your final switching decision against the current EFL on the provider’s site at the moment you sign up.
Verify before you save
Bill and EFL extraction is automated and overwhelmingly accurate, but it’s your job to confirm the numbers on the review screen before saving them as your current plan. We’ll flag low-confidence fields; you have the final word.
EFL freshness
Texas retail electric providers reprice and republish plans often. A specific rate seen today may not be offered next week. The app flags EFLs older than ~30 days; verify on the provider’s site before signing.
Acceptable use
Use the service for evaluating residential electricity plans in Texas. Upload only your own electricity bills, Electricity Facts Labels, or other documents that legitimately describe a Texas residential plan. Do not attempt to extract or scrape data, abuse the API, or upload unrelated files.
Subscriptions
Pro is billed monthly and cancellable at any time. Refunds for partial months are at our discretion. App Store purchases follow Apple’s standard refund policy.
